COVID19 marketing small business

In these uncertain times, it can seem like business and health advice is changing by the hour. Take control of your business by following our checklist to update pieces of your marketing and get ahead during these uncertain times.

  1. Update your Google Business Profile– Google Business Profiles are often forgotten after they are setup. Updating your Profile is a great and FREE way to boost your business in Google searches.
  2. Create your content calendar for the Spring/Summer– It can be tough to keep up with your social media profiles and blogs when business picks up. Take this time to create your future monthly content calendars by finding relevant articles, researching upcoming events and write a few blog posts to be used when business picks back up.
  3. Revise your website– Spend some time updating the content and pictures, check your listed email addresses and test your contact forms. If you understand the backend of your website, it’s also a good time to update any plugins.
  4. Respond to customer reviews– Take this chance to go back and respond to your loyal customers. Thank the customers who took the time to rate or write you great reviews and respond positively to customers who have expressed dissatisfaction. Just by taking the time to respond shows that your business cares. Remember to check all review sites including Yelp, Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor and more.
  5. Research your hashtags– Hashtags go out of style and new hashtags pop-up as time goes on. Take this opportunity to edit your “go-to” hashtag list, remove outdated hashtags and add hot new ones. Remember to keep some niche hashtags where your posts won’t be buried!
